UGA Represents

A freshmen from the University of Georgia, Jeff Williams, has made it to the final table of the European Poker Tour Grand Final and (as I type this) is the chip leader with only five people remaining.

Jeff qualified through PokerStars and is seeing his first live action tournament. Nice showing. He stands to take home at least €168,000 with going to the winner (Euros). Good luck to Jeff and maybe he can continue to represent Georgia well.

Update:
Jeff Williams comes through in the end and takes home the €900,000. Nice little pay day for someone who can't legally gamble in the states yet (he's 19). After building up a monster stack Jeff pushed the table around and took a lot of pots. The final hand saw the runner-up going all in with A8 off and Jeff making the quick call with A10 off. Boards was rags and Jeff took home the title.

GO DAWGS!!!
